BURNS—At his home in Lafayette township, on Saturday, March 16th, 1884, of Lung Fever, Thomas Burns, aged about 45 years.

Deceased was a native of Ireland, had resided in Lafayette about 20 years, was a robust healthy...death was not dreamed of until he was stricken down with lung fever, which soon destroyed his strong frame, and freed his immortal spirit. He was well liked by his neighbors, who attended the funeral, in large numbers, on Monday.
