WAUKON, Ia. Services for Reuben Snitker, 75, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the Marlin Bros. Funeral Home in Waukon to the Zalmona Presbyterian Church in Ludlow Township. The Rev. Henry Joanson, pastor, will officiate, burial will be in the church cemetery.Mr. Snitker had a stroke Friday afternoon while shopping in Waukon and died a short time later at the hospital.
He was born Oct. 30, 1880, in Ludlow Township, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Snitker. He married Alvina Helming March 26, 1908 and they had since farmed in Ludlow Township.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Richard on the home farm; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Halvorson of Waukon, and Mrs. Alfred Kiesau of Ludlow Township: five grandchildren; two brothers, Elmer of Ludlow and Albert of Waukon; and four sister, Mrs. Albert Heiming, Mrs. Emma Schmidt and Mrs. Mattie Ludekin, all of Waukon, and Mrs. Arthur Brandt of Decorah.
