Waukon, Ia., Dec. 19 - funeral services were held at the East Paint Creek Lutheran church Thursday afternoon for Mrs. K.T. Gronna of Paint Creek township, who died at the family home Monday.

Services were conducted by Rev. J.B. Unseth and burial was made in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Gronna was born Jan. 11, 1860 at Ridgeway, Ia. She leaves her husband and one daughter.

~Note: The paper gave her surname as Gronna, but the 'Woodmansee' cemetery book has Ellen D., and her husband Knute T., listed with surname Anderson and with remarks "Anderson-Gronna". Also listed in the 'Woodmansee' book is Ellen Oline Gronna, with very similar dates: 6/11/1861-12/11/1930 (a Thursday). Their gravestone has 'Anderson' engraved in larger letters, and 'Gronna' engraved just below in slightly smaller letters.

The entry in the Woodmansee book is confusing, as is the gravestone.
