Waukon- Edward Schoenthal, 61, lifelong resident of Allamakee county, died Monday evening at his farm home near here.

Mr. Schoenthal suffered a heart attack while fishing near Lansing Monday.

More than 30 years, he was a member of the Waukon Equity Cooperative Association and was secretary of the locker plant here for a similar period of time.

Survivors include his son, Curtis, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Leo Kloke of near Waukon, four brothers an a sister.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in Martin funeral home and at 1:30 p.m. in Zion Reformed church. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
