Guttenberg, Ia., Nov. 11 - Funeral services for William Seippel were conducted by Rev. Emil Lehre, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, at the Geuder residence Tuesday afternoon. Interment was made in Lansing.

Mr. Seippel died last Saturday night at the home of his sister, Mrs. George Kohler. He was born in Glen Haven, July 15, 1872, and came to Guttenberg when a child. He was married to Miss Maude Hadeen who passed away a number of years ago.

For many years Mr. Seippel operated a barber shop in this city and later at Garber, Ia.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Ferris, Lansing; three grandchildren, four sisters, Mesdames George Kohler, Louis and Eliza Gueder, all of Guttenberg, Mrs. Ben Roth, Dubuque.

Lansing, Ia., Nov. 14- The remains of William Seippel of Garber who died Saturday at Guttenberg were brought here Tuesday afternoon and burial was made in the family lot at Oak Hill cemetery. The services were conducted at the grave by Rev. Lehne of Guttenberg who accompanied the remains here.

Surviving him are one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Faris, Junction City, Ia.; four sisters, Mrs. Ben Roth, Dubuque; Mesdames Louis Gender, Elizabeth Gender and Louise Kohler, Guttenberg.

His wife preceded him in death in 1902.
