Waukon- Funeral services for Mathew Keenan, 48, who died Tuesday at his home east of Waukon, were held Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church and burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Keenan, he was born on a farm in Jefferson township Feb. 2, 1902. He married Marcella Hennessy Feb. 2, 1932.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Dorothy, Margaret and Rita, at home; five sons, Patrick, Leo, Lawrence, James and Albert, all at home; a brother, Thomas, Jefferson township; and one sister, Mrs. John Howes, also of Jefferson township.
