From the Waukon papers we learn of the death of Mrs. Bruce Reed, formerly of that place, but for the past ten years a resident of Beatrice, Neb., where her husband is engaged in the printing business. She died Monday evening of consumption, after an illness of about four months. Mrs. Reed was a daughter of Mrs. Anthony Barrett, of this township, and a sister of John Phalen.
