Waukon- Mildred Jacobson Hesse, 83, of Rochester, Minn., formerly of Waukon, died Monday, June 12, 1995, in Samaritan Bethany Home, Rochester, after a lengthy illness. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Salem United Church of Christ, Waukon, by the Rev. Oradell Nordness. Graveside committal services: 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Crown Hill Cemetery, Preston, Minn. Friends may call after 5 tonight at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Survivors include two daughters, Lois Ramaker of Bella Vista, Ark., and Carol Aug of Rochester, Minn.; a son, Robert Jacobson of Hammond, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Marian Straate of Waukon and Ruby Teslow of Decorah; three stepsons, Roger and Orville Hesse, both of Waukon, and Ronald Hesse of Postville; two sisters, Gladys Gjere of Spring Grove, Minn., and Ruth Paus of Eitzen, Minn.; and a brother, Donald Halvorson of Ashton, Ill.
