Dorchester- Gerald A. Colsch, 39, of Dorchester, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997, in Veterans Memorial Hospital after injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hanson Funeral Home, Waukon, where a Scripture service will be held at 7 p.m.

Survivors include his mother, Margaret; six sisters, Theresa Colsch of Waukon, Carol Smith of Spring Grove, Minn., Madonna Baker of Asheville, N.C., Chris Casey of Dodge Center, Minn., Anita VonAx of St. Charles, Minn., and Karen Thomas of Austin, Minn.; and eight brothers, Donald of Canton, Minn., James of Byron, Minn., Paul of Marquette, John of Hokah, Minn., Daniel of Rushford, Minn., Lyle of Dorchester, Charles of Rossville and Kenneth of Waukon.
