Waukon- Adeline Johanna Hammel, 83, died Friday, Feb. 14, 1997, in Good Samaritan Center, Waukon, after a brief illness. Services: noon Monday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Ed Lechtenberg. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, where a Scripture service begins at 4 p.m. and a rosary will be recited at 7:30.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol Opfer and Shirley Stortz, both of Waukon, and Jean Smock of Decorah; a son, Wayne of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Lucille Mauss of New Albin; and a brother, Joseph Troendle of Lansing.
