Waukon- William K. Waldron, 71, died Monday in Lutheran Hospital, La Crosse, Wis., after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today in the church basement, where there will be a Scripture service at 7 and a Knights of Columbus rosary at 6:30 p.m. Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, LaVone; seven daughters, Jan Votroubek of Tigard, Ore., Kathy Fossum, Wendy Snitker and Jane Sivesind, all of Waukon, Sue Smith of Ogden, Utah, Peggy Waldron of Phoenix, Ariz., and Gwen Waldron of Cedar Rapids; three sons, Dennis of Cedar Rapids, Greg of Rochester, Minn. and Rick of Blue Springs, Mo.; three sisters, Maxine Howell of Fort Worth, Texas, Jeanne Roggensack of Flossmoor, Ill. and Marie Sullivan of Park Forest, Ill.; and three brothers, Vernon of Manchester, John of Waukon and Stanley of Keokuk.
