WAUKON WOMAN DIES AT AGE OF 72 YEARS TUESDAY MORNING, FEB. 25

Mrs. Edward Ryan passed away at the home of her brother, Thomas McGeough, early Tuesday morning at the age of 72 years.

Mrs. Ryan nee Ellen McGeough, was born Jan. 3, 1869, in Union Prairie township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward McGeough.

She received her education in the rural schools. She married Ed Ryan, who, with three brothers and two sisters survive. They are; James Edward of Dubuque and Thomas and Lou of Waukon, John of Omaha and Mrs. Frank Spinner of Boston.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9 o’clock from the St. Patrick’s church with the Rev. E.J. McDonald celebrating the requiem high mass.

Burial will be made in the Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Manning, John Ryan, Charles Regan, James Ryan, John Haas and James McAneny.
