Waukon- Elsie L. Williams, 90, of Greene, formerly of Waukon, died Friday, April 5, 2002, in Liebe Care Center, Greene, following a lengthy illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church, rural Waukon, by Pastor Ken Kimball, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Martin Funeral Home.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty McLennan of Greene, Darlene Bartheld of Lakewood, Calif., and Joyce Appelgate of Waukon; a son, Richard Williams of Mesa, Ariz.; three sisters, Margarite Melcher of Waukon, Virginia Verdon of Desoto, Wis., and Belva Darling of Lansing; and three brothers, Alton and Thomas Darling, both of New Albin, and Robert Darling of Strawberry Point.
