Waukon, Ia., Jan. 18 - Funeral services were held at St. Pius's Catholic church in Cherry Mound Saturday morning for Andrew C. Grimsgard, well known Waterville merchant, who died at his home Wednesday evening after a several weeks illness.
A requiem high mass was said by the Rev. Clair Drummy, assistant pastor of St. Patrick's church, Waukon. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Grimsgard was born in this county 76 years ago and Waterville had been his home for the greater part of his life. He was well known as one of the first merchants and grain elevator men there and continued in business up to the time of his death.
In 1896 he was married to Miss Nell McCormick of Waterville, who survives him. He also leaves one brother and a sister residing near Sioux City.
