Roy N. Svebakken, 85, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, in the Aase Haugen Home, after a lengthy illness. Services: 1 p.m. Monday, Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church, rural Waukon, by Pastor Kim Kimball. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Survivors include two sons, Gene of Three Oaks, Mich., and Richard of Davenport; and two daughters, Linda Lambert of Decorah and Marlene Pierce of Eagan, Minn.
