Waukon, Ia. - The funeral of M.O. Nelson, 81, Hanover Township farmer, was held Monday afternoon at the Waterloo Ridge Lutheran church with the Rev. Chris Haltne, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in the family lot in the Iowa River Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Nelson died at his home Friday following a long illness.

He was born in Norway on March 14, 1857, a son of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Nelson. When a young man, he came to America, settling on the farm where his death occurred.

His wife preceded him in death many years ago.

Survivors include a son, Ole, at home, and two daughters, Mrs. Tillie Iverson, also of the same vicinity, and Mrs. Ole Solen, of Highlandville.
