Contributor: Connie Ellis (Schlitter researcher)Shane L. Timmerman, 21, of St. Cloud, Minnesota, formerly of Waukon, Iowa, died Sunday, October 7, 2012, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 13 at 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, Iowa, with Rev. Richard Iles officiating. Friends may greet the family from 12:00 PM until time of the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
Shane Lee Timmerman was born on June 2, 1991 in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He attended Waukon Elementary School and graduated from Waukon High School in 2009. Shane served in the United States Marines Corps from 2009 to 2011. He enjoyed the 1800's historical reenacting, 1880's cowboy reenacting, fishing with friends, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Delbert, Jr."Tim" and Brenda (Meyer) Timmerman of Waukon; his siblings, Tiffany (Alex) Cote',Joshua (Danny) Timmerman, Christian Timmerman, Amanda Timmerman, and David (Carolyn) Timmerman, all of Waukon, Keisha Timmerman of Minnesota, and Michael Little, Jr. of Waukon; 3 nephews, Porter Cote', Isaiah Timmerman, and Michael C. Little; a niece, Amelia Cote'; maternal grandparent Sylvia Macauley of Waukon; paternal grandparents Delbert, Sr. and Betty Timmerman of Waukon. He is also survived by his biological mother, Nancy (Dean) Ash of Muscatine, Iowa and biological father Michael Little, Sr. also of Muscatine, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Marlend Meyer.
