Mikel Delaney

Mikel Francis Delaney, 21, of Lansing, died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, November 25 at the Wexford-Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, rural Lansing with the Rev. John Moser as celebrant. Inurnment was at the Wexford-Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, rural Lansing.

Mikel was born September 8, 1992 in Honolulu, HI to Casey and Tammy (Ceynar) Delaney. He graduated from McKinley High School in Honolulu and attended Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. Mikel enjoyed playing cards with his grandpa, hunting and fishing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Mikel is survived by his father and step-mother, Casey and Michelle Delaney of Honolulu, HI; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Ann Delaney of Lansing; his maternal grandparents, Ray and Sally Ceynar of Oxford; his siblings, Heather (Dan) Delaney of Elgin, MN, and Jon, Jazmine and Jenovia Delaney of Honolulu, HI. Mikel was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Delaney.

Thornburg - Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Lansing assisted the family with arrangements.
