Lynxvile, Wis. - Funeral services for Mrs. Francis Caya, 87, early settler near Lynxville, who died at her home Sunday, June 23, were held Monday, July 3, in St. Wenceslaus' Church, Eastman, Wis. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Caya was born at Harpers Ferry, Ia., on Oct 7, 1859, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Traub. In 1865 her parents moved to a farm near Lynxville. She was married to Frank Caya in 1894.

Surviving are a son, Mitchell; seven grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Barbara Varo, of Milwaukee, Wis., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, who died in infancy, two sisters, and three brothers.
