SANDRY, MCMILLAN, BROWN, SADLER

Elmer Joseph Sandry was born January 3, 1883, in Allamakee County, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Sandry. He attended country school and on March 10, 1910 was married to Miss Flossie McMillan, who passed away in Canada, while on a visit with home folks, during the flue epidemic, Nov. 7, 1918.

Deceased passed away at his home near Elkader very suddenly last Wednesday, Oct. 20th. he leaves to mourn his passing two sisters, Mrs. Peter Brown, of Morelad, Sask., Canada, and Mrs. Clifford Sadler, Lansing; two brothers, Walter of North Pine, B.C., Canada, and Arthur, of near Lansing. His parents preceded him in death.

The remains were brought to the Fitschen Funeral Chapel at Lansing Thursday and funeral services, with the Rev. John W. Kile officiating, were held Saturday afternoon with burial in the Mays Prairie Cemetery. Pall bearers were Willard, Frank and Dewey Sandry, Harold Englehorn, Arthur Wendel and Arvid Sadler.
