Monona, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Vina Rose, 82, were conducted Thursday in the Methodist Church at Volney by the Rev. H.W. Farnham, pastor. Burial was in the Smithfield Cemetery.

As Vina Johnson, she was born Oct. 21, 1860, in New Hampshire. She was married to Mr. Rose in Allamakee County and they have since resided in Volney community.

Survivors include four sons: Del, Clarence, George, and Gilbert; and three daughters, Mrs. Blanche Thomas, Mrs. Leta Evans, and Mrs. Velva Stafford.
