Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Crawford, 74, were held at the Martin Bros. Funeral Home here, with the Rev. W.H. Mitchell, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Mrs. Crawford died Tuesday at her farm home following a long illness.
As Mary Starr, she was born July 4, 1868 in Missouri, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Starr. She was married in 1892 to Mr. Crawford, who survives with two children, Mrs. C.I. Steinbach and Cleophas, both of Nora Springs; two sisters, Mrs. George M. Rice of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Rachael McIntosh of Albany, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
