Postville, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Brandt, 74, were held Saturday from the Schutte funeral home here to St. Paul's Lutheran church, with the Rev. Frederick R. Ludwig, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Postville cemetery. Mrs. Brandt died at her home here Tuesday following an illness of several months.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Schultz, she was born in Milwaukee, Wis., in June 1871. She was married to William Brandt, and the greater part of her life was spent here. Her husband died several years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harry Neff, West Union, Ia. and Mrs. Phoebe Madorin, at home; three sons, Pat, of Postville, Mel, at Decorah, Ia., and Ray, of Waukon, Ia.; and two sisters.
