Waukon - Funeral services for Edward Rupp, 70, who died at his farm home, three miles south of Waukon, Tuesday, after a two-year illness, will be held from the Martin brothers funeral parlors to the Zion Reformed church Friday afternoon. The Rev. Frank E. Stucki, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
Mr. Rupp was born on the Rupp homestead on Aug. 18, 1875, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Rupp. He was a farmer most of his life. Surviving are his wife, the former Hannah Hueneman; a brother, Albert Rupp, Waukon; and four sisters, Mrs. Ernest Kiesau, Mrs. John Maloney, Mrs. Joe O'Brien and Mrs. Simon Kiesau, all of Waukon. A sister, Mrs. James O'Brien, Waukon, died a few weeks ago.
