Bonita McKee

Bonita (Clancy) McKee, age 77, of Lansing passed away Monday, May 27 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, WI. A family gravesite service is planned for later this summer.
Bonita was born to Walter and Verona (Pottratz) Clancy March 12, 1936 in Lansing. She graduated from Lansing High School in 1953. She was united in marriage to Harris McKee and later they divorced. Five children were born to this union, David (Elizabeth) McKee of Cortland, IL, Tim (Amy) McKee of Chambley, GA, Janelle (Dave) Peacock of Brookston, IN, Kim McKee of Hayden, ID, and Dennis (Marcy) McKee of Waukon; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also mourning her passing are her siblings, Bernadine (Ron) Feuerhelm of Hager City, WI, Belva Gramlich of Monona, Barb (Bob) Leppert of Lansing, Walter Clancy, Jr. of Chicago, IL, Bebe Truelsen of La Crescent, MN, Deanna Clancy of Kenosha, WI and Carl (Diane) Clancy of Lansing.
Bonita enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, watching game shows on TV and going to "the boat” every now and then. She never missed a Packer game. No matter what!
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Munchoff and Beverly Boise; and her father-in-law, Art McKee.
