Stella Susan (Weipert) Milhan was born May 9, 1906 in Lansing to Robert Weipert, Sr. and Minnie (Milhan) Weipert. She lived in Riceville, Aurea, and Westgate, in addition to living in Waukon the past twenty five years.

Stella died Sunday, Nov. 6, 1994 at Veteran's Memorial Hospital; she was 88.

Surviving are a daughter, Rachel King, of Luana, and a son, Ronald Milhan, of Waukon; eight grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Weipert of Lansing, and two sisters, Clara McGeough of Dubuque and Mary Arndt of Jewell.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, August Milhan, three children - Lavern, Joe and Bill; three brothers, Leonard, Ed and Bob Weipert; three sisters, Odelia Weber, Frieda Hess, and Loretta Zweibohmer.

Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9 at Hanson Funeral Home. Burial was in a cemetery in Riceville.

Casket bearers were Kevin King, Tim Price, Scott Brainard, Marty Adam, Leonard Weipert, Randy King, and Herman King.
