Miss Nellie Stockman, well known resident of Postville, Iowa, died at Mercy Hospital, Dubuque, at two o'clock Tuesday morning. She had been ailing only a short time. The remains were shipped to Postville for burial.
Miss Stockman was born in Postville, June 17, thirty-seven years ago, and had resided in that city her entire lifetime. She was a graduate nurse, having been educated at the hospital in Postville. She was a Catholic, a member of the M.B.A. society and the St. Bridget Catholic church at Postville and in her last hour was comforted by the rites of that religion.
She leaves to mourn her passing her mother, four brothers, John, William and Gilbert all of Postville, and Edward of Elkader, and six sisters, Mrs. John Brown of Albert Lea, Minn.; Mrs. H. M. Koevenig of Postville; Mrs. N. J. Wiesbeck of Dubuque; Mrs. B. J. Vorman of Columbus, Neb.; and the Misses Lucy and Jeanette Stockman of Postville.- Dubuque Telegraph Herald, Tuesday, March 6th.
The funeral was held from St. Bridget's Catholic church in this city on Wedneday morning,
