A note from Mrs. Hall Roberts of Long Beach, Calif., brings the sorry news of the passing of Mrs. W. F. Warner of that city, who died on May 4th, after an illness of three years. She would have been eighty-two years of age June 6th. She is survived by her husband and four children, T. F. and L. A. Warner of Twin Falls, Idaho; Bessie G. Files of Mason City and Alice L. Warner of Long Beach, Calif. Mrs. Warner came to Clayton county as a child and lived in Postville and vicinity for more than fifty years.

The sympathy of many old friends in this city and locality will go out in unstinted measure to those who mourn the loss of this noble Christian wife and mother.

We are also pained to learn that Mr. Warner is in very poor health.
