Postville, Ia. - Funeral services for Henry W. Schroeder, 65, were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church here Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Frederick R. Ludwig, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Postville cemetery.

Mr. Schroeder, the son of Ludwig and Wilhelmina Klocke Schroeder, was born in Germany on Oct. 5, 1879, and came to the United States when he was 13 years old. He was married to Sophia Dahl, of Postville.

A retired farmer, he came to live in Postville several years ago.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Willard Meyer, Postville; a half brother, Chris, in California; and one sister, Mrs. Hornack, Castalia, Ia.
