Genevive Swenson

Memorial services were held Thursday, August 23, at 10:30 a.m. in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, for Mrs. George W. Swenson. The Rev. Wilbert R. Trusheim of Faith United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, officiated.

Mrs. Swenson died Monday, August 20 following a long illness. Born January 11, 1909 in Cedar Rapids, she was married to George W. Swenson, formerly of Postville, on August 19, 1935.

Surviving are her husband; 2 daughters, Barbara Stenerson of Marion and Betty Meyer of Mechanicsville; a sister Geneva Reece of Cedar Rapids; stepmother, Anna Parks of Sigourney and 5 grandchildren.

Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
