Funeral Services Held For Mrs. C. Storla

Services were held Saturday, October 12 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, for Mrs. Clarence Storla who died October 10 at Lutheran Hospital, LaCrosse, Wisconsin. The Rev. Norman Ullestad officiated.

Elizabeth Julia (Sullivan) Storla was born at Church, Allamakee County, Iowa on May 2, 1911. She was the daughter of Jerimiah and Julia (Allen) Sullivan.

On November 12, 1941 she was married to Clarence M. Storla and to this union two children were born.

The couple lived in Waterville when they were first married, later moving to Waukon before moving to Postville in 1948.

Mrs. Storla became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church on March 18, 1951 and was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; 4 brothers, Daniel, John, Frank and William and a sister who died in infancy.

Survivors include her husband, her son, Richard of West Columbia, South Carolina; her daughter, Mrs. Steven (Janet) Blom of Davenport; 2 granddaughters, Eden Storla and Jennifer Blom; one grandson, Brian Blom; a brother Charles of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and other relatives.

Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.
