Waukon, Ia., Nov. 30 - The death of Dr. Milton W. Nesmith occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.T. Gilchrist, Sunday afternoon. Deceased had been apparently in the best of health for some time past, but was stricken with paralysis Friday evening while partaking of his supper from which he did not rally.

He was a native of New York state and was about 86 years of age. He came to this county at an early day, first settling at Lansing where he practiced medicine. Later he removed to Waukon, where he conducted a drug store for a number of years in connection with his practice.

Three daughters, Mrs. Ida Smith of Minneapolis, Mrs. Lillian McGowvan* of Pensacola, Florida, and Mrs. Allie Gilchrist of Waukon, and one son, Elmer Nesmith of North Dakota, survive him.
