R. S. Rounds was born Aug. 5th, 1864, and died at his home near Postville, Nov. 1st, 1890.

He was married Nov. 7th, 1886, to Miss Minnie Monlux.

He had for a few weeks been suffering from rheumatism, but was not considered dangerous until the day of his death, when the disease attacked his heart and suddenly ended his life.
