DIED- At his home in Franklin township, near Dickson's school house, Oct. 1st, 1894, of inflammation of the bowels, after only two day's sickness, Richard Colvin, aged 14 years. Funeral at the house on Wednesday a.m. Interment in the Luana cemetery.
We are informed that the deceased was an extremely bright and good boy. The suddenly afflicted parents have the warm sympathy of the whole community.

DIED - At the home of his parents four miles north of Luana of inflamation of the bowels Richard M., son of Richard and Sylvia [Colvin], aged 18 years, 10 months and 21 days.
Another has passed over the river leaving sad hearts in the home. "Little Dick" will be much missed by his school mates and many friends.
The funeral services conducted by Rev. Klose were at the house, Wednesday Oct 3rd. The remains were laid in the Luana cemetery.
