Funeral services were held on Friday, January 18, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church for Martin Hayes, 75, of Waukon, who died Tuesday at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. He was the former owner of the B & B Clothing Store.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Metzdorff and Mrs. Otto (Alice) Kubitz, both of New Albin; and a brother, William, Waukon.

Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
