Little Ruth Sires, aged ten years, died Sunday morning at Grandview Hospital, La Crosse, having been ailing with kidney trouble for some time. The remains were brought here Tuesday morning, burial taking place after Requiem High Mass at St. Mary’s church. Cousins of the deceased, Misses Ruby, Mae, Sylvia, and Goldie Sires acted as pall bearers. Four little cousins, Opal and Gladys Sires, Anastacia Waters and Genevieve Mahr carried flowers. After the mass Miss Mary Waters, Hyacinth Danaher and Mrs. H.E. Danaher sang “Lead Kindly Light.” The remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Sires, and four sisters and three brothers.
