BURDICK- Died on the 31st inst., at the home of his psrents in Postville, of inflamation of the bowels, Edward L. Burdick, aged 21 years, 9 months and 17 days.

Scarce one week ago Mr. Burdick was to all appearance in perfect health, was vigorous and active in the pursuit of his calling. Having been a member of the Edwin Clifford Dramatic Company last season his talent and ability was recognized and he was re-engaged for the present season. Last Saturday, while filling an engagement, he complained a little but was able to fill his place. Monday his illness increased, his father was notified, and he was taken home. Tuesday afternoon he sank rapidly and at 4 o'clock his life ended.
