Dolph D. Inman, 87, formerly of New Albin, died Monday, July 2, in Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, where he had lived since Jan. 24, 1950.
He was born Dec. 5, 1891, in New Albin to Willard and Adeline (Ross) Inman. he had been a commercial fisherman and was a World War I veteran.
Inman is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Olloff of La Crosse, Wis., and Mrs. Ariel Mulholland of McGregor; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the New Albin Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Lloyd Fried officiating. Burial will be in New Albin Cemetery, with military rites by Kenneth Casey Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5603.
Friends may call at the chapel Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, is in charge of arrangements.
