Among the victims of that terrible disease, diphtheria, which has made so many homes in Postville desolate by taking dear little ones away, is Mattie, the daughter of Geo. W. and Martha Stafford, after a severe illness of one week. She died Jan. 10th, 1878, aged one year, ten months and twenty-one days.
