DEATH COMES TO BERT ENTWISLE
Dies Early Monday Morning
Ill One Week with Flu and Complications

Albert E. Entwisle died at his home early Monday. He had been ill one week with flu and complications.

Albert E. Entwisle was born May 30, 1860, near Volney, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Entwisle. He spent his early life in that vicinity, where he received his education. On September 15, 1889, he married Ida Stanley, and for a number of years they lived on a farm. For the past 34 years they have made Waukon their home. Mr. Entwisle was janitor of the Waukon public school for 15 years. He was a member of the Loyalty Club of the Baptist church, and also belonged to the Woodman Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, one adopted daughter, Mrs. Mildred Campbell of Freeport, Illinois, and one grandson, Stanley Campbell. He also is survived by three brothers., Nathan of Waterloo, Thomas of Oregon City, Oregon, and Charles of Waucoma, and six sisters, Mrs. Clara Stafford and Mrs. L. B. Mason of Waukon; Mrs. Mary Stafford of California; Mrs. Inez Pierce of Fayette; Mrs. Cora Rubendall of McGregor, and Mrs. Martha Thornton of Post township.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 at the home and 2:30 at the Baptist church, conducted by Reverend Willard O. Johnson, and Reverend J. R. Lindblom of Center township. Interment was made in Oakland cemetery.
