A Loved One at Rest.
Mrs. Bernard Welper passed peacefully away at her home Friday evening, April 15, 1927. Deceased became afflicted with anemia in February, 1926, being confined to her bed from April 7, 1927, until the time of her death.

Fredericka Holt was born in Schale, Tecklenburg Province, Westphalia Kreis, Germany, January 14, 1858. In 1874 she came to America with her father and sister, and in 1877 she was united in marriage to Bernhardt Welper. Thirteen children blessed this union, the father and one daughter preceding the mother in death.

Deceased was a member of the Evangelical church all her life. She was a good neighbor and a true and loving mother, always interested in the welfare of her children and ready at all times to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends in time of sickness and distress.

She leaves to mourn her departure twelve children, namely, Mrs. John Munz, Mrs. George Hagen, Barney, Louie, Mrs, Frank Buege, Will, Rudolph, Mrs. Louis Wiemerslage, Walter, Mrs. Herman Renk, Ben and Mrs. Charles King; also 22 grandchildren, all of whom will miss the ever loving kindness and genuine home hospitality of mother and grandmother. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Anna Meiners of Arkansas, and a great many friends. She was laid to rest in the cemetery of the St. Lucas Evangelical church at Eitzen on Monday, April 18th, Rev. F.C. Klein officiating.

A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we live is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.

Card of Thanks
We desire to thank our neighbors and friends who so kindly assisted us during the sickness, death and burial of our dear mother.
The Children.
