J. N. Leithold received the sad intelligence of the death of his youngest son, George, in California, on Tuesday. The cause of death was given as asphxiation from gas. He was buried in Woodland, Cal., on Wednesday of this week. No particulars have yet been received, except the bare dispatch. The many friends of the family sympathize with them in their great and sudden bereavement.
