Funeral services for Elmer T. Courson, who passed away at Long Beach, California, Jan. 8th, were held at the Postville Community church last Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. Samuel Garwin of Dubuque, and a goodly number of old acquaintances of the deceased were present to pay a last tribute of respect to his memory. Interment was made in the family plot in Postville cemetery.

Those from out of town present at the funeral were Wilmer Stowe of Fort Dodge, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Courson of Belmond, Rev. Chas. Richards of Spirit Lake, and Chris Heller of Long Beach, Calif., the last named being a close friend of the deceased and accompanied the remains here.
