Neil E. Bulman Dies

Neil E. Bulman, 65, Forest City, died Monday, Feb. 1, 1982 at a Mason City hospital. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. February 3 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Forest City, with the Rev. Ole Winter officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Oakland Cemetery.

Bulman was born in Postville June 6, 1916, the son of William G. and Martha (Luehr) Bulman. He was a graduate of Postville High School and served with the U. S. Army Air Force in World War II. He received a degree from Iowa State University in 1948.

From 1949 to 1964 he lived in Sac City, working as Sac County Extension Director. He moved to Northwood in 1964, where he worked as Worth County Extension Director. In 1969 he became director of quality control at Winnebago Industries, Forest City. He retired in 1979, due to ill health.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Hanson) Bulman, a son, Ned, of Ames and a brother, Howard, of Newton.
