Miss Hattie Weihe received word Friday of the death of Mrs. Margaret Puhl, 85, who passed away at her home in Washington, D.C., following a months illness. The Puhl family were residents of Postville about 40 years ago when Rev. M. O. Puhl was pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran church.

Services for Mrs. Puhl were held in Washington and at Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she was laid to rest beside her husband, who had preceded her in death. Mrs. Puhl was born in Lancaster. One daughter, Ella Gertrude of Washington, D.C., survives.
