Rites Held For Green Child, 5.

Final rites were held Saturday for Robert Melvin Green, 5, Son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Green, at St. Paul's Lutheran church with Rev. F. R. Ludwig officiating. Robert passed away at Postville Hospital last Wednesday.

Born in 1944.
Robert Melvin Green, son of Clarence John Green and Helen Koth Green, was born February 15, 1944 at Postville, and departed this life after a brief illness on November 16, 1949, at the Postville Hospital, aged 5 years.

Robert spent his short earthly life in the home of his parents. He was made a Christian through the sacrament of Holy Baptism on May 28, 1944. This fall he enrolled in the public school.

Left to mourn his passing are his parents; one brother, Dale Allen Green; two sisters; Beverly Ann Green and Mary Ellen Green; his paternal and maternal grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Allen Green of Castalia and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Koth of Monona; His great-grandmother ; Mrs. Mary Lenth of Monona.
