Gerald Harris Passes Away Saturday Night.

Gerald Elisha Harris, son of G. W. and Sarah Ellen Harris, departed this life at eleven o'clock p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 1928, after a lingering illness of many months which he had borne with patience.

He leaves to mourn his loss his father, G. W. Harris; one brother, W. M. Harris; three sisters, Mrs. A. W. Swenson, Mrs. Lonie Folsom and Mrs. Richard Folsom, besides many other relatives and friends.

Gerald's mother passed out of this life fourteen years ago, and one brother, Roger, dying from an accidental gunshot wound.

Gerald was a very quiet man and was respected by all who knew him. He was aged 47 years, five months and six days.

The funeral was held from the Postville Community church last Sunday afternoon, Rev. R. F. Galloway officiating. Interment in the Minert cemetery.
