Mrs. Mary Estella Deal passed away at the home of her son, Guy, in this city on Monday morning at the age of 66 years and seven months. She was born near Detroit, Mich., April 10, 1858, and was married to Jacob Deal. Ten children were born to this union: one son, Fred, died about 31 years ago.

She is survived by four sons - Guy of Postville; Herbert of Luana; Ernest of Rossville; and Arthur of La Crosse, Wis; and by five daughters - Mrs. Edith Cutler of Butte, Mont.; Mrs. Maud Waterman of Detroit, Mich.; Miss Minnie Deal of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Cora Ames of Postville; and Mrs. Elsie Brandt of Ossian.

The funeral will be held from the Postville Community church this afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. R. Franklin Galloway.

Interment in Postville cemetery.
