Walter White, a well known and highly respected farmer of the Forest Mills locality, passed away at his home on Monday of this week at the age of 72 years. He had been a resident of that vicinity for fifteen years.

He is survived by his widow* and seven children: Mrs. Delmar Reincke and Mrs. Will Christofferson of Postville; John White, Ed White and Mrs. Videa Seig of Forest Mills; Ernest White of Waukon and Elmer White of Monona, beside many other relatives and friends.

The funeral was held from the Community Presbyterian church in this city at 1:15 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. L. E. Crippen, pastor of the United Bretheran church. Interment was made in the Postville cemetery.
