Margaret Harris-Lochmiller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Harris, was born in Post township, Allamakee county, Iowa, August 13, 1862, and died at her home in Postville, Iowa, April 11, 1923. Her first husband, Lorenzo Powell, and their infant son, Vivian, preceded her in death. She was married to John R. Lochmiller on the 24th day of January, 1898, and he passed to the final home on January 18, 1913. Mrs. Lochmiller's three sisters and three brothers and a great many other relatives mourn the loss of an loving sister and friend.
